About Us @ Mays of London

  Where do we start, an adventurous pair of entrepreneurs (I still hate that word) that just keep coming up with new and exciting businesses and are crazy enough (some say brave), to orchestrate it.... and boy..... what a ride we have been on.  

Mays of London was created on the back of one of our other business' Fresh Outta Ideas, initially started up as a side hustle but soon warranted itself to be a fully fledged business. Winning 7 awards and nominated for a further 5 in our first two years of business just spurred us on to do something else. Bags sell well when we sell in person, but selling bags online was hard work, growing traction and riding the algorithms was an adventure in itself, akin to riding a roller coaster at the biggest Theme Park in the world and never getting off! 

Anyway..... Mays was born, we incorporated it with Fresh Outta Ideas and we are now a luxury, some say glamorous, Tea & Coffee Lounge in Bexleyheath, Kent with a rather fabulous collection of Italian Leather Handbags and accessories being just an added bonus!

We've brought a bit of class and style to Bexleyheath and apparently, our toilets are the best in town! not quite the accolade we had originally anticipated, but, you know what, we'll take it.  After all, I judge restaurants by their toilets too - so you guys are my kinda people! 

Daily, we serve pastries, cakes, lunches, afternoon teas along with a extensive menu of hot and cold drinks. 

Daily, we get asked for something specific someone has seen on 'the gram' - one day, we may even go viral!! 

Events...... Mays - it's the place to be, Baby Showers, Hen Party's, Meetings, Birthday Celebrations..... you name it, we've now got it booked in.  We've just launched Singer Saturday once a month where we will have a rotation of singers each month, provide food/drinks and a feel good Saturday afternoon vibe.   

You're right, we are not 'just another coffee shop'.  Come to Mays and see how we differ from others, and see how we are NOTHING like the big chains. 

People who buy coffee from us, do it because it tastes great, looks great, the staff are smiley, friendly, take time to chat to them.  Our customers have the opportunity to drink it or take away, they can sit down, have time for themselves, talk to those around or just take in 'people watching'.  We have a comfortable and stylish coffee lounge for people to relax and enjoy. 

It's really becoming a community hub, we absolutely love it! it is truly a lovely fun place to sit in, work in and be part of!
